Honl. L M Cox
Washington D.C
Dear Sir

I have well known Mrs. Nancy Boyd for many Years—an aged Respectable resident of the county of Bath & State of Kentucky—who I am informed is a witness in the Application of the children of Mary Yarbrough (decd) from Bath Co Kentucky for a Pension widow of Randolph Yarbrough deceased, to the Pension office of the united States, at Washington D.C.

I know the said Nancy Boyd to be a Lady of Irreproachable character, & I would have the most entire confidence in her statement to be true whether on oath or otherwise—That said Randolph Yarbrough was believed by his neighbors where he lived to have been a soldier of the Revolution. I have no Intrst in this Pension.

I am dear sir
