Biographical Description

Andrew Alkire Trumbo was born in Bath County, Kentucky on September 15, 1797. A lawyer, he began his career in government working as the clerk of the Bath County court. He represented Kentucky in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1845-1847 before resuming his private law practice. He died in Frankfort, Kentucky on August 21, 1871.
