Biographical Description

John Liscomb was born in about 1721. While going through Bertie County on May 24, 1757, his traveling companion Elizabeth Knott was murdered. Though he did not see the crime itself, Liscomb witnessed an American Indian man named John Strawberry run from her body and later testified for the prosecution against Strawberry. Any further information about this individual has not been located.
