Biographical Description
Catherine Caroline Drane (née Parker) was born in 1817 in Halifax County, North Carolina. She was born into a prominent family and was in several high social circles. She married John L. Hargrave in 1837, and after his death married Robert Brent Drane in 1850. She died in 1884 in Tarboro, Edgecombe County, North Carolina.
