Biographical Description

Solomon Debow II was born in North Carolina, likely in Caswell County, in about 1789. The son of a Revolutionary War Veteran, he served as a private in the Tennessee Militia during the War of 1812. He later resided as a farmer in Smith County, Tennessee. He died in Smith County in about 1872.
