Sarah Debow Thompson was born in Orange County, North Carolina in May 1762. She lived with her mother Hannah during the American Revolution and later married Abraham Thompson in 1782. They moved to Smith County, Tennessee and the couple had two children. She made a sworn affidavit in 1837 supporting her sister-in-law Rachel Debow's widow's pension application. She died in Tennessee in 1856.
