Christopher Neale was a resident of Craven County, North Carolina by 1758. He represented Craven in the North Carolina Assembly in 1771, during which time he helped disabled veterans widows of the War of Regulation receive pensions. Later Neale served as a delegate of the North Carolina Provincial Congress and as a colonel in the Craven County Regiment of the North Carolina Militia from 1776 to 1778. He died in Craven County in about 1785.
