Biographical Description

Armand John De Rosset was born in Wilmington, North Carolina on November 17, 1767. A medical doctor, he served as a surgeon in the North Carolina Militia during the War of 1812. He maintained a medical practice in Wilmington, and was a notable and wealthy citizen of the city. He died in Wilmington on April 1, 1859.
