I Berter Rice, make oath that I know H. B. Jordon of Badin, N.C., and Mr. and Mrs. Holiday of Badin, N.C.
I futher make oath that while H. B. Jordon was going by the home of Mr. and Mrs. Holliday, one day last fall, he heard Mrs. Holliday call to her little girl, "Come in from play", upon this he looked toward the house and observed Mrs. Holliday siting at the window, and Jordon, Exclaimed, "Hush you God Dam son-of-a-bitch", Mrs Holliday replied, "That is all right Mr. Jordon", and Mr. Jordon, says, "I am getting tired of you telling lies on me".
The next day Mrs. Holliday told me that her husband and Mr. Jordon had had a fight.
This the 10th, day of July 1919.
