Know all men by these presents that I Thomas Yarbrough of Morgan County in the State of Kentucky son of Mary Yarbrough (Ded) & Randolph Yarbrough (Decd) who was a soldier in the [intentionally blank] line ofin the army of the Revolution do hereby nominate constitute and appoint William Ramsey of Louisville My true & Lawful attorney for me & in my name to prosecute against the goverment of the United States the claim we have as heirs of Randolph Yarbrough (Decd) & Mary Yarbrough (Decd) under the act of congress passed [intentionally blank] or under any other act or acts of the congress of the United States.

And when an amount or amounts are found due them my said attorney is hereby fully authorized to demand & receive from the goverment of the United States or from any officer thereof the money or certificate in satisfaction for the same & to sign seal & deliver any instrument or instruments in writing in order thereto that they may deem fit & I hereby revoke all former power of Attorney that I may have here tofore given to any other person or persons hereby ratifying & confirming all & whatsoever my said Attorney the said Ramsey may do by virtue of these presents in testemony whereof I hereunto subscribe my name this the 27th day of April 1852
