The Affidavits in the case of Margaret Strozier decd. widow of Peter of Alabama, have been received and filed under Act 7th. July 1838.

A Declaration should be made by one of the children in open Court, before a Court of Record. It should state at length Peter's services, the date of his marriage with Margaret, the dates of their death, and the names and number of their surviving children. Record proof of each of these events will be required. When these are not ^it is^ attainable it must so be certified—and then said proof will be considered. I enclose forms under Acts 4th. July 1836, and 7th. July 1838. I return you the letter of Messrs. Richards & Falkner.
