Biographical Description

John Marsh was resident of Guilford County, North Carolina. Following the Battle of Alamance Marsh made a deposition in support of John Pugh, a prominent Regulator. In his deposition, Marsh gave John Pugh an alibi for the Hillsborough Riot that happened in September 1770, hoping to help Pugh receive a pardon. Any further information about this individual has not been located.
