Ditto was a young African American woman enslaved by William Brimage. Brimage hired Ditto out to Josiah Holt, but then left the United States and never heard from Holt or Ditto again. Brimage estimated that Ditto had at least three children and applied unsuccessfully for recompensation from the American Loyalist Claims Commission for Ditto and her children.
