Biographical Description
William Perry was a resident of Pitt County. In 1777 he served on a jury of inquest that determined that Nathan Mayo willfully had shot and killed Thomas Clark. Mayo was later acquitted. Perry served in the Pitt County Regiment of the North Carolina Militia.
