Thomas Harrison (d. 1789) was a resident of Tyrrell County. In early July 1777 he and several of his family members were approached by Daniel Leggett and swore oaths to become members of the Gourd Patch Conspiracy. Several other people later noted in their depositions that they were recruited into the plot at Harrison's house or his orchard. Once the plot was discovered he gave a sworn deposition about his knowledge of the conspiracy before the local justices of the peace.
