Biographical Description

Robert "Robin" Jones, Jr., (1718 - 1766) was an attorney who moved to North Carolina sometime between 1750 and 1753. He served as a legislator representing Northampton County (1754-1761), attorney general of colonial North Carolina (1756-1759), and collector of quitrents for John Carteret, 2nd Earl of Granville.
