Biographical Description
Franklin Knight Lane was born on July 15, 1864, near Charlottestown, Canada. Lane served as United States Secretary of the Interior during the administration of President Woodrow Wilson, from 1913 to 1920. He died in Rochester, Minnesota, on May 18, 1921.
