Biographical Description

Jacob Peterson was a resident of Perquimans Precinct, North Carolina. Elizabeth Viner testified in 1697 that while on a journey with William Lee, Dorothy Steele, John Spelman, and several others, John Spelman killed a cow that belonged to Peterson. Spelman was eventually banished from the colony for four years for the crime. Peterson died in Perquimans by July 1698.
