The Posteskeet were an American Indian Nation that reside on the northeastern shore of the Albemarle Sound in North Carolina in present-day Currituck County. The Posteskeet, along with the Yeopim and the Paspatank, descended from the Weapemeoc Indians, a tribe from southern Virginia and northern North Carolina who interacted with the the first English colonists to arrive during the 16th century. In 1715 the Posteskeet appealed to the North Carolina Council and won the hunting rights for the lands near their village, even if colonists held claim to the lands. By the 1730s, the Posteskeet had largely disappeared from local written records.

As of 2024 no American Indian group recognized at the state or federal level claims descent from the Posteskeet.
