Porter, Joshua

Biographical Description

Joshua Porter was born in Virginia in about 1680. He served as a justice of the peace for Beaufort and Hyde Precincts from at least 1723 until 1727. He also represented Beaufort in the North Carolina General Assembly in 1726. He died in Beaufort in 1734.
