Biographical Description
Curtis Hooks Brogden was born in Wayne County, North Carolina, on November 6, 1816. Brogden was a governor of the state of North Carolina from 1874-1877 and a member of Congress from 1877-1879. He died in Goldsboro (Wayne County), North Carolina, on January 5, 1901.
