Biographical Description
James V. Anderson was born in about 1775. A resident of Washington County, Tennessee, he served as the clerk of the Washington County Superior Court from 1806 to 1810. When that court was abolished, he then served as the clerk of the local circuit court from 1810 to 1836. He died sometime after 1838.
