Biographical Description
Sarah Polk Badger, nicknamed Sallie, was born in Raleigh, Wake County, North Carolina on May 28, 1833. She and her sister were close friends with Margaret Eliza Cotten and they likely attended school together at St. Mary's. In September 1854, she married Montford McGehee. She died in Raleigh on December 19, 1903.
