Biographical Description
Mary Mills Powers (née Burnett) was born in Black Mountain (Buncombe County), North Carolina, in March 1857. Powers lived in the Craggy Station community of Buncombe County with her husband Alfred Alexander Powers (1851-1920) and son Charles Powers (1889-1969). She died in Leicester (Buncombe County) on June 6, 1920.
