Biographical Description
Walter Raleigh Bauguess was born on May 25, 1888, in Weasel, North Carolina. Bauguess was an attorney in Jefferson, North Carolina, when he registered for the draft (World War I) in June 1917. He was active in the Republican Party. Bauguess died in Ashe County on November 30, 1931.
