The undersigned Directors of the State Prison of North Carolina find after an examination of the Stewards statements, that there will be needed for the support of prisoners at Raleigh and Western NC Rail Road, the prosecution of work on the prison building and the erection of the exterior wall the sum of Nine Thousand Eight Hundred and Thirty Three 33/100 dollars for this month, and they therefore recommend that requisition be made through the Governor on the State Treasury for that Sum.
