Yrs with bills of spikes etc. was recd, the articles had reached him all right. The "Fish Ponds" are ready except the wire apron which Mr. Clark promised to send from Raleigh. Rail road work is progressing favorably, the track will be laid this week up to the Round Knob. We could work more hands if we had them, some more could be of advantage.
