I William J. Clarke Comptroller of public accounts in and for the State aforesaid, do hereby certify that it appears of record in said office, in the record of payments made by said State to sundry persons for military services in the Revolutionary War, as follows to wit.
Book No. 1. payments by W. McCauley page 10. Frederic Debow £800. & I find that the depreciation was at the date of said payment (August 1782.) seventy five for one, also Book No. 4. page 33. £57.S2. specie paid Frederic Debow Also Book No. 24 page 19 £6.S2 specie to Frederic Debow
I also find in Book I which is a register of officers that Frederic Debow was a D.C (Deputy Commissary) & W. M. (Wagon Master)
