The case of Rachel Debow, decd., widow of Frederick, of Tennessee, Adm, Act 4th July 1836 adm, as private, Cap. Depy. Comy. and Waggon Master,
8 months private
3 " Captain
3 " Dep Comy & waggon Master $146.66/100 commencing 4th March 1831, and ending 6th January 1840, when she died.
In this case we think, that the payments to Frederick De Bow, shew a cervice of ^nearly^ two years as Commissary and Waggon Master.

This amount for services as Comy. & Waggon Master, Which at $50 per month, will entitle us to a credit of 14 Months 1 day—amounting to a rate of pension of | $350.00. per annum |
Also, for services as Captain, for himself and company, specie payment £339.15. Which divided equally between 1. Captain at $40 per month, 1. Lieut at $26 66 per mo, 1. Ensign at $20 per month, and 30 privates at $6. 66/100 per month as provided, by the Act of Assembly of N Carolina, will entitle him to a credit of 3 Months as Captain— | $60.00 |
Which should be his rate of pension as such per annum | 350.00 |

$410 00 |
Captain Debow, or rather his widow, has been allowed $146.66. Which deducted from $410—Which ^the^ amount we contend should have been allowed, will give an increase of pension of $363. 33⅓, per annum, from the 4th March 1831 to the 6th day of January 1840. This we contend is clearly due, & if you give credit to the record testimony, and as a part has been recognized, the whole is entitled to equal credit.
The marriage has already been admitted, and also the identity. There is indeed but one point to be considered, and that is whether you will allow the payments made to him, or not.
