Thomas Lester being sworn on the holy Evengelis deposeth and Saith that he the deponant, was at the house of Francis Williamsons Some time in Febr. last past where he See Joshua Smith and Jonathen Mannen two out liers & at that time adherents of Josiah phillips, also one Daniel Fulford who Since Joynd the Company of tories Commanded by Said phillips, Casting bullets at the house of Said Williamson, viz that Williamson Cast the bullets, and handed them to Smith who put them in his pockit, and that Smith at that time Caried his Musket, this deponant Saith that he was well acquainted with Mr Williamson, and by his Conversation was allways rather in favour of Britain agt. America, and that Since the time they Cast the bullets he Saw Smith work on sd Williamson Smoke house publickly—this deponant further Saith that he heard Williamson Say that he would be glad these tories or out liers would stay in their own County, and not Come in this to disturbe the people here, that it was not decent for them to go to places of worship in the manner they did & that it ought not to be Suffered—& further this deponant Saith not
