After &d By Virtue of his Majys. Letters of privy Seal bearing date the 3d day of July 1761 Thes Care to pray & require your Lordship to draw an Order for paying unto Arthur Dobbs Esqr. Captain General & Govr. in Chief in & Over the Province of North Carolina in America to his Assi[gn]s the sum of £250 without Acct for ¼ of a Year ended the 25th day of April 1763 on the Yearly Allowance or Salary of £1000 made payable to him by the sd. Letters of privy Seal in lieu of a like Salary formerly payable to the Govr. of the sd. Province out of the Quit Rents thereof to enable him to Execute his Commission & the Instructions thereby given him for his Majesty's Honour & suitably to the Dignity of the sd. Office And let the sd. Order be Satisfied out of any monies that as or shall be in the Receipt of the Excheqr. arisen or to arise for or upon Acct. of the Duty of 4½ ⅌ Cent And for &c Whitehall Treasury Chambers the 6th day of July 1763
