1771 May 8th. This day Came Joshua Stroud Before me and proved by the oath of Elizabeth Stroud that the above horse was Taken from her at Hillsborough the day the Troops Marchd. from thence, and hath also Made Oath that he never Recd. Any Satisfaction for the said Horse,
