Dr. John McCampbell,
Morganton, N.C.

My dear Dr. McCampbell:-

I have a letter from Mrs. Ida Gerry of Walnut Cove, N.C., in regard to Miss Charlotte Anne Powell. Mrs. Gerry certainly ought to have relief if possible. You are doubtless acquainted with the facts of this case. She tells me that she has written you. I hope there are no cases in North Carolina worse than this.

I was of the opinion that the last legislature passed an act requiring the Hospital at Raleigh to take patients from the territory of the Hospital at Morganton, as the Raleigh Hospital was not fully occupied. I cannot find any such act.

I sincerely hope that you can do something for Mrs. Gerry.

Yours sincerely,
