Mr. George W. Wilson,
Gastonia, N.C.

My dear Mr. Wilson:-

I will have a meeting of the Council of State on Monday in regard to the expense of employing detectives to identify the lynchers. I would have a meeting today, but there is no quorum in town. There will be no difficulty about the money I know.

Everything should be done possible. I am sure that the lynchers can be identified if proper efforts be made.

Yours sincerely,
