Biographical Description

Thomas Tutle was a resident of Craven County who enlisted in the North Carolina Militia and was wounded in the shoulder during the Battle of Alamance on 16 May 1771. He later petitioned the North Carolina Colonial Assembly and was successful in winning a pension in November 1771. Any other information about Tutle has not been located.
