Mary Ramsay was a signer of a 1774 nonimportation agreement that later became known as the Edenton Tea Party Resolves. She may have been a relative of John Ramsey of Bertie County, who died in 1806 or Allen Ramsay, an Edenton merchant who died in 1799. As no further information about Mary Ramsay has been located, a definitive identification is not possible at this time.
