Mary Falconer was born in Perquimans or Chowan County, North Carolina in about 1710. She married James Beasley sometime before 1735 and the couple had at least four children together before his death in 1737. By 1739 Mary had remarried, this time to John Frasier and the couple had at least one son prior to John Frasier's death in 1743. By this point a wealthy woman with shares in multiple plantations, Mary again remarried, this time to William Woolard sometime prior to 1762. Following her third husband's death, Mary never remarried. In 1774 she signed a nonimportation agreement that later became known as the Edenton Tea Party Resolves. She died in Chowan County in 1789.
