Biographical Description
Frances Winifred Hardy (or Hardee) was born in North Carolina in 1816. She married Sydney M. Barbee (1809-1881) in Wake County on May 7, 1839. The couple later moved to Chapel Hill (Orange County) where they remained until their deaths. Francis died on November 19, 1897.
