Biographical Description

Samuel Slocum was born in Albemarle County, North Carolina and moved with his mother and siblings to Bath County, North Carolina in about 1696. In 1703 he testified that he had conversed with an American Indian who expressed that he had heard that the colonists had plans to attack the American Indians near Bath. He died in Bath County in about 1714.
