Ward, Michael (Albemarle)

Biographical Description

Michael Ward was a resident of Chowan Precinct, North Carolina 1718. Establishing himself on Catherine Creek, Ward received or witnessed several land conveyances from the individuals of the Chowanoke Nation to British colonists in the 1730s. He died sometime after 1740.
