Biographical Description
John Riley Page was born on April 21, 1891, in Stanly County, North Carolina. Page was operator of the Tallassee Power Company power house at Badin, North Carolina. In 1919, he provided testimony during an investigation into the alleged abuse of Tallassee employees by management. Page died in Albemarle, North Carolina on February 1, 1958.
