Biographical Description
Ephriam Clayton was born in Transylvania County, North Carolina, on March 9th, 1804. He worked as the Supervisor of Construction and as an overseer of imprisoned laborers on the Western North Carolina Railroad. He died in Buncombe County, North Carolina, on August 9th, 1892.
