Biographical Description

Daniel Spence was born in Surry County, North Carolina on July 20, 1794. A Methodist preacher, he resided in Union County, Illinois. In 1836 he made a sworn affidavit in support of Rosana Murray's widow's pension application. He died in Union County on December 2, 1875.
