Biographical Description
Thomas Stephen Kenan was born in Kenansville, North Carolina, on February 12, 1838. Kenan was a lawyer, a Confederate officer, and he served as the attorney general and clerk of the North Carolina Supreme Court. Kenan died on December 23, 1911.
