Biographical Description
Louisa Jane Virginia (née Henry) McRae was born in North Carolina in 1822. The eldest of the Henry siblings, she resided in Raleigh prior to her marriage in 1845 to Duncan Kirkland McRae, a lawyer in Fayetteville and later Wilmington. She died in Mount Vernon, Westchester County, New York on October 20, 1906.
