Georgia Hulse Stover (née McLeod) was born in Wilmington (New Hanover County), North Carolina in 1875. Stover was a former teacher who, following her marriage to Martin L. Stover, became active in the North Carolina Federation of Women's Clubs. For a time, she served as chairman of the Federation's education committee. She died in Lakeland (Polk County), Florida on November 2, 1967.
