Biographical Description
Anna Liza "Annie" Ray (née Wilson) was born in Yancey County, North Carolina on August 6, 1872. Ray was a daughter of mountain guide "Big Tom" Wilson who married her cousin Jesse W. Ray in 1888. She died in Burnsville (Yancey County) on October 12, 1957.
