Spingler, Albert Gottlieb

Biographical Description

Albert Gottlieb Spingler was born in Newport, Rhode Island on March 30, 1861. Spingler was a Raleigh-based optometrist who served as president of the Carolina Prisoner's Aid Society, as president of the Raleigh Juvenile Association, and as treasurer of the Raleigh Recreation Commission. He died in Raleigh on December 2, 1951.
