Biographical Description

Josiah Harrison (d. 1794) was a resident of Tyrrell County. In July 1777 he became a member of the Gourd Patch Conspiracy. When the plot was discovered and Daniel Leggett, one of the senior wardens of the movement went on the run, Harrison supplied him with food.
