Biographical Description
Robert Lupton Woodard was born in Pamlico County, North Carolina, in August 1861. Woodard was a prominent farmer and saw mill operator who served as a representative of Pamlico County in the General Assembly (1903 and 1905) and as a member of the State Board of Agriculture (1911-1921). He died in Pamlico on July 4, 1932.
